A life built in chapters, not headlines.

For nearly three decades, my work has placed me in rooms where important decisions are made. Somewhere along the way, I realized that what mattered most to me wasn’t simply being in those rooms—it was making sure the people sitting across from me understood their options and felt prepared to make decisions for themselves.
That has shown up in many ways throughout my life. I’m a mother. A real estate professional. A student working toward my degree in Behavioral Health Science with an emphasis in Trauma. A storyteller. A woman of faith. And after years of being defined by the roles I carried and the responsibilities in front of me, I’m also learning what it means to simply be Dana.
Those parts of my life aren’t separate. They inform one another—and they always have.
My life and career have unfolded alongside one another. There have been seasons of building, seasons of starting over, and seasons that required me to rethink what moving forward actually looks like. Through all of them, faith, family, work, and a belief that there is always something more to learn have remained constant.
Today, much of what I have learned comes together in two expressions of the same purpose. Through real estate, I educate, advocate, negotiate, and help people make informed decisions about what comes next. Through Behind the Smile, I am creating space for honest conversations about the parts of life we don't always talk about—healing, identity, faith, and becoming.
Different conversations. Same Dana. Same purpose: helping people see possibilities they may not have been able to see for themselves.
